Restoration Update

Dear Members,

First and foremost, I would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our linemen, support staff, and all contract and off-system crews who are tirelessly working around the clock to restore power. In addition to our dedicated employees, we have multiple crews from other cooperatives and contractors across the valley assisting in this effort.

As of September 29, at 7:30 p.m., we have reduced the number of members without power to 2,100, down from approximately 11,000. Many of these outages require extensive work, including the replacement of poles and transformers, as well as tree removal, which takes time. We understand how challenging this situation is for those who have been without power for several days, and we empathize with you, as many of our employees’ families are also affected.

Please be advised that we are working diligently to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. However, some members may remain without power until the end of this week due to the widespread nature of the storm-related outages. If you have health needs that require electricity and are currently without power, we urge you to make alternative arrangements. We encourage all members currently without power to plan accordingly for the possibility of extended outages.

We ask that you keep the safety of all our employees and assisting crews in your thoughts and prayers as they continue their efforts to restore power.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Brad Coppock
